- Case details
- The case is all solid English Oak, or Brazilian Mahogany with a venneered
back board.
- The finish is by traditional French polishing and waxing,this time honoured
method gives a finish which not only enhances the true beauty of the wood but
which also improves with age.

- Clock movement
- The clock movement is made by Hermle of Germany. It is an 8 day 4/4
Westminster chime spring driven movement with pendulum.
- Dial details
- The clock dial has a solid brass back plate. The chapter rings now in two
designs are 1.2mm thick barss with deep ectched numerals Silverplated and
grained and the centre is hand engraved as found on clocks circa 1750 - 1800.
The chapter ring is surrounded by four cast brass spandrels.
- Chapter ring diameter 160mm.
- The brass work is not artificially lacquered so the true character and
natural lustre of the metal is allowed to mature with age.
