(as shown) or English Oak.

true beauty of the wood but which also improves
with age.

- the carrying handles are specially cast for
us to our own design to represent handles from
the late seventeenth century.

- dial back plate 1.6mm brass with hand engraved
centre and corners.
- chapter ring 1.2mm brass 150mm dia, engraved
numerals, grained and silver plated.
- the brass and silver are not lacquered so
that the true character and natural lustre
of the metals is allowed to mature with age.
