    • The case is all solid Brazilian Mahogany, no artificial board materials are used..
    • The finish is by traditional French polishing and waxing,this time honoured method gives a finish which not only enhances the true beauty of the wood but which also improves with age.
    • Case dimensions 11.5"h x 9.5"w x 5.5"d - 290mm x 240mm x 140mm approx.
  • Clock movement
    • The clock movement is made by Hermle of Germany. It is an 8 day 4/4 Westminster chime spring driven movement with floating balance.
  • Dial details
    • The clock dial has a solid brass back plate ,the chapter ring is 1mm thick aluminium with painted numerals and the centre is hand engraved as found on clocks circa 1750 - 1800. The chapter ring is surrounded by four cast brass spandrels.
    • Chapter ring diameter 160mm.
    • The brass work is not artificially lacquered so the true character and natural lustre of the metal is allowed to mature with age.
