    • The finish is by traditional French polishing and waxing,this time honoured method gives a finish which not only enhances the true beauty of the wood but which also improves with age.

  • Dial details
    • The clock dial has a solid brass back plate , the centre is hand engraved as found on clocks circa 1750 - 1800. The chapter ring is surrounded by four cast brass spandrels.
    • The chapter ring is 130mm diameter 1.6mm thick brass with deep etched numerals and silver plated.
    • The metals are not artificially lacquered so the true character and natural lustre of the metal is allowed to mature with age.
